Meet the .Bk Team

.Bk just moved into our first office in Bed-Stuy, and to celebrate the occasion, we’re sharing team portraits that our visual creator Reggie Smith made. But instead of just our crime-fighting alter egos, we thought we’d give you a little behind the scenes flavor of the .Bk crew.

Teghvir Sethi, Founder and Designer

After using his liberal arts degree on poetry & filmmaking, Teg created .Bk as a way to combine his love of storytelling and fashion design. He loves a good kolache, the Mets, and 4th grade insults.

Sam Purcell, Director of Operations

Sam can be found repping a .Bk shirt while working operations and marketing. He loves golfing and fantasy football in his off time, and his heroes are Neil deGrasse Tyson and James Dyson.

Megan Coxe, Director of Outreach

Megan’s love of the written word inspires more than just .Bk content. She is a poet, has a Masters in Hispanic Literatures and loves pizza more than you. Fun fact: Emery is Megan’s younger brother.

Reggie Smith, Visual Creator

When Reggie’s not illustrating or animating for .Bk, he likes to skateboard in bike lanes while listening to gangster rap. He believes that Denzel Washington is his spirit animal.

Emery Coxe, the hero that built

Emery isn’t your typical programmer with a background in comparative literature. He once wrote a short story completely in code. He and his dog Bud live in Austin, but we forgive him for that.
