A Space of Their Own: ATX Hackerspace

3D printers, laser cutters, and almost every tool a maker could ask for.

We stopped by ATX Hackerspace to see what Austin makers, inventors, and hackers were up to. The answer: a bit of just about everything.

While wandering, we chatted with Chris Robinson, co-founder of Revolt Custom Electric VehiclesIn the middle of a custom retrofit, Chris explained the challenges of his work, the excitement of seeing more and more electric cars on the road, and how it all started through his advocacy for electric in Austin.

ATX Hackerspace holds an open house every Tuesday night. If you consider yourself a maker, hacker, or are just plain curious, head up to the far reaches of Austin (according to some, anyway) to their warehouse space.
